Question 3

A pipe just burst. What do I do first?

Accepted Answer

Shut off the main water valve, turn off electricity to any wet area if it's safe, move valuables out of the water, then call (656) 900-6484.

Question 4

Where is my main water shutoff?

Accepted Answer

It's often where the water line enters the house, in the garage, or near the meter at the street. Find it before you need it, and make sure it turns by hand.
